Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accuracy in receiving, verify inventory, and maintain organized records. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight from various carriers.
- Accurately match received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Document any damages, shortages, or discrepancies found during the receiving process.
- Enter receiving data promptly and accurately into the inventory management system.
- Organize and prepare goods for internal distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area, complying with all warehouse standards.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the consistent use of required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Capable of occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and inventory control.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role or a similar position is highly desirable. Proficiency with inventory management software or WMS is a plus. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills are essential. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE guidelines is mandatory.
