Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and equipment.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory levels.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency within the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of forklift operation safety and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
