We are hiring an Order Picker for our Charlotte, North Carolina distribution center. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using various picking technologies (e.g., RF scanners, voice picking systems). You will ensure that the correct items and quantities are selected and prepared for packing and shipment. This position requires physical stamina, accuracy, and a strong commitment to efficiency. Understanding the flow of goods and the importance of timely order fulfillment within our logistics network is key. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures, and correctly using all provided PPE are non-negotiable aspects of this job. Frequent Lifting and bending will be involved, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or system prompts.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order details.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE .
- Contribute to efficient warehouse logistics and meet productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics .
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and wearing PPE .
