Job Summary:
Our busy distribution center in Richmond, Virginia, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding team. In this critical role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accuracy in all tasks. We require candidates with a strong focus on safety, adherence to protocols, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a hands-on role involving physical activity, including significant lifting and moving of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all guidelines.
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist in managing stock levels.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet productivity targets and operational demands.
  • Follow all established procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in logistics operations.
  • Practice safe lifting techniques when handling various types of merchandise.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety directives.
  • Availability to work required shifts and occasional overtime.
