Join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana as an Inventory Clerk! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting in the implementation of inventory control strategies. Your work will directly support the efficiency of our warehouse and supply chain management. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees must adhere to company Safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may involve physical tasks such as Lifting and moving inventory. If you have a knack for organization and a commitment to accuracy within a logistics setting, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or overages.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related inquiries.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and physical movement.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE.
