Über

The Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in upholding and improving the standards that keep our customers satisfied and our workplace safe. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent adherence to quality standards;
Adherence to health, safety and hygiene procedures, whilst driving a safety- first culture;
Performing regular instrument calibrations in line with the calibration schedule;
Inspecting and testing products at various stages of the process to ensure quality compliance;
Assisting with product retests and manage dispositioning of non‑conforming/stopped product;
Supporting finished pack audits and documentation;
Conducting environmental testing and generate accurate reports;
Carrying out routine process checks to maintain consistent production standards;
Leading or supporting customer claim investigations, providing root cause analysis and solutions;
Performing detailed troubleshooting on the paper machine and customer converting lines;
Assisting with machine trials, conducting hands‑on product testing (including flexible work patterns as required).
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in quality control or assurance role, or a degree in a relevant scientific, technical or engineering discipline;
A qualification in 6‑Sigma Green Belt or above, along with ISO auditor experience, is desirable;
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, precision and accuracy in testing and reporting, have strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills and a strong work ethic, along with a proactive and independent approach.
