Overview Are you ready to accelerate your career with a dynamic and innovative F1 team? We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Design group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins. Our team is dedicated to engineering excellence, pushing the boundaries of technology and optimising performance to achieve our goals. Role You will be part of the team behind all of our complex suspension components and sub‑systems, taking ownership of your own designs with the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge.
Responsibilities
Contribute to detailed design specifications from cradle to grave, defining and supporting component or system validation, servicing and utilisation and resolving any issues as they arise.
Concept design and scheming components, detailing machined parts, patterns, molds and specifying laminates, extending to the necessary component jigs and build tooling.
Qualifications
Previous experience in F1 or high‑level motorsport ideal.
Degree level or equivalent in Engineering with solid base knowledge of engineering first principles.
Experience with CATIA V5/3DX preferred; training will be provided for NX or similar if required.
Self‑motivated, analytical, pragmatic decision‑maker, capable of working with minimal supervision.
Creative, innovative, consistent approach to problem‑solving.
