Based in Northampton with hybrid working, we’re looking for a Transport Solutions Manager who can turn complexity into clarity and design smarter, cost‑effective transport strategies. As a Transport Solutions Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative transport solutions that optimize operational efficiency and deliver cost-effective outcomes for our customers. This role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support business growth and continuous improvement.,
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Design and cost innovative transport solutions for new business and existing operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability
Utilize advanced modelling tools (e.g., Paragon) for network optimization, scenario planning, and feasibility studies
Analyse operational and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights
Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, supporting tenders and strategic decisions
Lead cross‑functional collaboration to implement solutions, drive ESG initiatives, and support AI‑driven optimization projects. Interest in transport modelling and network design, with proficiency in tools like Paragon and/or data analysis software
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders effectively
Proven project management capability, delivering complex solutions under tight deadlines while ensuring quality standards
In‑depth knowledge of transport operations, cost optimization, sustainability principles, and emerging AI‑driven solutions
Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Transport Planning, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management; professional certifications and CPC desirable.
