Are you a skilled and experienced technician with a passion for assembling and maintaining complex conveyor systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Conveyor Assembly Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of conveyor systems critical to our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conveyor System Assembly: Lead the assembly and installation of conveyor systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components, following blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all conveyor systems meet the company's high standards for performance and safety.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in existing conveyor systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.
Team Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and assembly teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly procedures, repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory. Update documentation as necessary to reflect changes and improvements.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, and promote a culture of safety within the team. Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and other departments to identify opportunities for conveyor system improvements, upgrades, and innovations.
Training: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in conveyor technology. Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyor system assembly, installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Commitment to safety and a track record of adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with conveyor system components and technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
