DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Manage your site, meeting scheduling goals and maintaining a high quality of standard including a clean, organized and professional presentation of work site.
  • Create an exceptional client experience, exceeding client expectations and monitoring all Hyland Landscapes employees and Subcontractors for appropriate and professional communication and behavior.
  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and applicable building codes.
  • Prepare Change Order details for the construction manager.
  • Maintain schedules with the Project Team to meet milestones and completion dates.
  • Lead Project Teams to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets through providing clear direction to team members.
  • Support Project Team through coaching, professional development, Daily Team Huddles and Weekly GSR Meetings.
  • Support and maintain a healthy, happy work environment and corporate culture
  • Provide clear direction to team members to ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Attend Project Meetings with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions to support ongoing projects.
  • Attend Planning Meetings to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
  • Pursue professional development by attending GSR Meetings.
  • Support and maintain a healthy, happy work environment and corporate culture.
  • Manage the procurement process, and maintain, track, and report financial aspects of projects including Subcontractors, materials, coding, forecasts, and billings.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years managing landscape construction projects in the Landscape or Construction industry.
  • Experience with Project management software tools and current technology.
  • Experience with landscape installation techniques and their applications.
  • Experience reading architectural plans
  • Project Management experience / training preferred
  • Connections in the industry.
  • Agility with softwares and spreadsheets
  • Proven ability to focus on micro details

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly : $34-$40 per hour
