HVAC Service Technician

Compensation: Up to $100,000 per year

Job Overview

JD Swallow Home Comfort is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong HVAC, mechanical, and electrical expertise, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC equipment issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance using a variety of tools and equipment
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical components
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, explaining system issues and available solutions
• Provide outstanding customer service while identifying client needs and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including service vehicle
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Solid mechanical knowledge of residential HVAC systems
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to perform HVAC repairs independently
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical demands of the role
• Minimum 4 years' experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Gas Fitter 2 (G2) license required
• 313D license preferred

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Experience with boilers and hydronic systems is an asset
