Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment efficiently.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are functioning properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and chefs.
• Help organize kitchen supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices within a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is beneficial.
