The position of service manager consists of planning, directing & coordinating technicians to perform scheduled HVAC maintenance. Planning components and accessories into client facility. It also consists of data processing of required documentation of all PM, recommended repair and emergency services, scheduling, and complete implementation of the all services as per company protocol and work procedures.
Tasks
- Maximize customer service and meet our service commitments
- Measure, monitor and drive achievement of all Operational metrics
· Answering technical phone calls during business and occasional off hours
· Managing a group of 10-12 technicians.
· Dispatching technicians to their assigned tasks/duties
· Afterhours service coordination with On-call technicians
· Creating reports for management and clients
· Providing quotes to clients
· Sourcing parts and suppliers
· Motivate technicians and provide training with inhouse content
· Conducting random job completion checks
· Perform regular reviews of cost, quality, safety and productivity metrics.
· Ensure exceeding HVAC service gross margin
· Confer with client, technicians, suppliers and management to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and service problems.
· Review PM inspection to monitor compliance with company services agreements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Prepare and submit quote, budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports;
- Prepare/assist in contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to modified service agreements with clients, suppliers.
- Schedule the PM inspections in logical steps both manually and electronically, and budget time required to meet deadlines;
- Select, schedule jobs, and oversee technicians' time and track assignment of specific pieces of the jobs service, PM, small installations.
- Communicate with technicians for specifications of service and determine appropriate methods are used by field technicians.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, damages, or service emergencies at client's locations.
- To sit in monthly meets with management to review installation targets, install counts, budgeting and methods.
- To perform all necessary requirements allocated time to time by the sales team or operation manager
- To maintain material warehousing and inventory monitoring of parts, tools, service trucks and accessories
- To be on call for 24/7 service requirements and emergency client care
- Record, process documentation, and manage on site work incidents and damages
- To be able to handle clients under high pressure situations and assist them in resolving their HVAC needs and services.
Skills & Experience
- Field technical experience minimum 5-10 years in commercial industrial HVAC service.
- Excellent time management skills, good listener, and to use logic and reason to identify problems and their respective solutions.
- Ability to train, motivate, develop technicians as they work and identify the best technical solutions.
- Experience in using an ERP software for daily operations.
- Team player with leadership skills.
- To assist the Operations Manager to deal with Service Issues related to Clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Clean Driver Abstract – G license
Working conditions
- The Service Manager is classified as a "Management Position" and hours are as needed , with being on call 24/7 to handle Service requirements of our clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Experience:
- commercial industrial HVAC: 6 years (required)
- HVAC service manager: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative Skills: Computer & Software ,Communication: 3 years (required)
- Commercial industrial HVAC mechanic. : 4 years (preferred)
