Ontario Security Protection is seeking professional Independent Alarm Response Contractors to respond to alarm activations throughout Burlington/ Oakville . This role involves attending alarm events, conducting site inspections, documenting findings, and ensuring client property is secure. Contractors operate on a flexible, self-managed schedule and must maintain a high level of professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarm dispatches through the app platform

• Travel to assigned alarm locations using your own vehicle

• Conduct full exterior and interior checks (when access is provided)

• Observe, assess, and document site conditions professionally

• Take photos and prepare accurate reports through the mobile app

• Escalate incidents to police or Ontario Security Protection when required

• Maintain professional communication and follow safety protocols

Requirements

Licensing & Documentation

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background and compliance review

Insurance Requirements

• Minimum $2,000,000 personal Vehicle Liability Insurance.

• Insured, roadworthy personal vehicle

Equipment Requirements

• Smartphone with data for navigation & reporting

• Flashlight and basic safety equipment

• Ability to maintain all required equipment in working order

Compensation

• Paid per verified and completed alarm response . Per alarm rate to be discussed .

• No hourly rate, mileage reimbursement, or fuel compensation.
