Head Server/Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic head Server to join our dynamic team. As head Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable visit. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for the food industry. This position has mostly day shifts Mon - Sat. This position works closely with the owner and requires someone who is dependable and looking for a long term position.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely order fulfillment.
• Report to owner
• Manage other servers
• Dealing with sick calls in

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Previous management skills considered an asset
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service is highly valued.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
