About the Role
Unify is hiring a
Founding Account Executive
to help accelerate the growth of LIV, our resident experience and property operations app. LIV is in an early market expansion phase and is already deployed in high-end multifamily condominiums and rental apartments with recognized real estate operators and developers.
This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close across the Canadian market, with a focus in the Greater Toronto Area, with exposure to U.S. opportunities over time.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, product, and onboarding teams, contribute to shaping sales motion and messaging, and play a foundational role in scaling LIV's footprint. As Unify grows, this role offers a clear path to expanded scope and future sales leadership role with an opportunity to build out Unify's sales team.
This position offers a base salary plus uncapped, performance-driven commission.
What you will do:
Strategic Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Own your pipeline and forecast for LIV opportunities across multifamily condominiums and rental apartments, focusing in the GTA and Ontario region
- Prospect through a mix of outbound (LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals) and inbound leads
- Run targeted 1:1 outbound campaigns using in-house AI-powered marketing automation
- Build a strong product knowledge and market research that translates into a custom messaging, insights, and micro-offers to convert leads to meetings
- Qualify opportunities using a structured framework (decision-makers, budget, need, timeline)
Full-Cycle Enterprise Selling
- Own and manage the entire sales cycle for enterprise deals, from initial prospecting and discovery through solution demo, proposal presentation, negotiation, and close.
- Drive disciplined opportunity management from qualifying, forecasting, and closing large contracts while maintaining a robust pipeline
- Lead executive-level discussions and navigate senior client stakeholders (VP level and C-Suite) in real estate buying groups including Condo boards, developers, building owners, and property management.
- Take a consultative, value-driven sales approach, deeply understanding each customer's business challenges in order to craft tailored demos and proposals that demonstrate clear ROI.
- Refine our sales playbook and improve sales enablement materials for sales motion
- Identify objections early and address them with clarity and confidence.
- Identify opportunities to expand deal size through premium features and add-ons where there is clear customer value.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and analyze pipeline activity and conversion trends to continuously improve results.
Customer Launch & Early Adoption Support
- Partner with onboarding and product teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed deal to launch.
- Participate in onboarding calls, training sessions, launch events and site visits as needed.
- Support clients through early adoption to establish strong relationships and long-term account potential, setting the foundation for portfolio growth and referrals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with VP, Strategy & Operations for outbound marketing, deal strategy, pricing, and commercial alignment.
- Collaborate with Product Lead on market needs, objections, and competitive insights and collaborate for customer onboarding and early adoption.
- Ensure CRM hygiene and maintain clear records of activities, contacts, and deal progression with monthly reports on pipeline, forecasts, and key activities to the senior leadership team.
Industry Engagement
- Represent Unify at real estate conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Build strong relationships within the multifamily and PropTech ecosystem.

What we are looking for:
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience is a must.
- Experience and good network connections in multifamily property management, developers, asset companies, Real Estate Tech, or Prop Tech sectors is an asset
- History of closing mid-market/enterprise deals with a strong track record of meeting/ exceeding sales targets, and comfortable closing deals with an average contract size of $20-100K
- A competitive attitude with an aptitude for developing your own business opportunities and seeing them through to final sale
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder, multi-layer deals with different levels of authority.
- Highly structured, organized, and accountable in managing pipeline and follow-up.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and to travel to the U.S; valid driver's license
