Roots & Tales Clinic is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to support developmental and behavioral goals. This role involves collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, evidence-based care in a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Job Type: Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Casual / Part-time
• Compensation: $25–$28 per hour, based on experience
• Location: Roots & Tales Clinic

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
• Provide direct ABA therapy to children in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to guide treatment adjustments
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
• Collaborate with case managers, supervisors, medical staff, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Assist in developing and implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive behaviors
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques to reinforce therapy goals at home
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA, pediatrics, and special education

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an ABA Therapist or in a related role
• Proven experience working with children, preferably in pediatric, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Educational background in ABA, psychology, education, child development, or a related field
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong understanding of research-based ABA techniques and data collection methods
• Patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about supporting children's developmental progress

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication skills when working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong case management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs and behavioral responses
• Familiarity with pediatric care and relevant medical terminology
• Reliable, ethical, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
