About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Angular Developer to join Huntel Global's dynamic development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated front-end solutions for enterprise-level applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and project stakeholders to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible web interfaces that align with the company's branding and style guidelines. The role is based in Whitby, ON, with a hybrid work model that combines remote and on-site work to provide flexibility and work-life balance.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive experience in front-end development. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, TypeScript, and Angular, with Angular being a mandatory requirement. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing responsive web applications is essential. Proven expertise in implementing Material Design principles using the Angular Material UI library is required, along with experience in integrating branding and style guides into enterprise applications. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred. Candidates with additional skills in React, building reusable front-end libraries, and experience with testing frameworks like Jest will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to review design feasibility from a technical perspective, providing valuable feedback to ensure practical implementation.
• Develop and maintain scalable, configurable, and reusable front-end components to support enterprise software platforms.
• Conduct WCAG 2 gap analyses to identify accessibility shortcomings and recommend improvements to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Design and implement responsive visual interfaces that provide an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Participate in peer code reviews to uphold quality standards, including WCAG 2 compliance, responsiveness, and adherence to company style guides.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending relevant courses, conferences, or workshops annually.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all new developments and updates, along with comprehensive unit testing to validate functionality and facilitate future maintenance.
