Personal Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including home environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, especially those with disabilities, minor sprains/strains, or requiring companionship and supervision. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including health monitoring under supervision
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
• Support clients through engaging activities and companionship
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
• Support clients in participating in recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being

Requirements

• Prior experience in PSW
• Knowledge of patient care, caregiving techniques, and medication administration
• Experience working with people with disabilities or dementia is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Valid certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not mandatory
