We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional guest service skills will set the tone for the entire visit, making it essential to have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow.
- Handle phone reservations and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Assist in managing the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, as well as any experience with serving or restaurant roles.
