We're looking for a Salesforce Developer with 2–3 years of experience who can bring technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to help us scale our operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and automation.
- Review and validate AWS infrastructure setup for EventBridge-based integrations.
- Maintain and optimize integrations with ERPs, CDPs, and data lakes using APIs, MuleSoft, and AppExchange connectors.
- Support Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud features to enhance omni-channel engagement.
- Own technical aspects of including data migrations, integrations, AppExchange products, and custom code.
- Provide technical leadership, setting best practices for integration, deployment, testing, and CI/CD.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and integration issues with speed and precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Salesforce solutions with business goals.
- Ensure scalability and governance by following platform conventions and enterprise standards.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Systems for candidates aiming to take on advanced solution architecture and leadership responsibilities.
- Equivalent experience combined with Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) will also be considered.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of development experience (Certified Salesforce Developer preferred).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EventBridge.
- Strong background in Salesforce customization, enhancement, and support.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Queueable Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows, and process builders.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and Salesforce data tools.
- Demonstrated success with Salesforce integration projects (real-time, batch, sync/async).
- Experience with APIs, MuleSoft, AppExchange, and enterprise-grade connectors.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and design patterns.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering and solution deployment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Must be a resident of Nova Scotia.
