Need a Company Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Duties

• Operate heavy trucks to transport freight between locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
• Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift operation is preferred.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
