About Us

We are a residential framing company specializing in custom homes, restoration projects, and subdivision work. Our operation is organized, detail-driven, and focused on delivering reliable, high-quality framing for builders and developers across the GTA.

As our workload continues to grow, we are looking to add a dedicated Framing Estimator to support accurate pricing, efficient bidding, and clear communication with builders and project teams.

Position Overview

The Framing Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed framing estimates from drawings and specifications. This role requires strong structural understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with plans, takeoffs, and project documentation.

You will work closely with ownership, project managers, and site teams to ensure pricing accuracy and timely submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural drawings for residential projects
• Prepare accurate framing takeoffs, tenders, & cost estimates
• Price materials, labour, and scope for custom homes, restorations, and subdivisions
• Identify missing information, conflicts, or scope gaps in drawings
• Communicate with builders, suppliers, and internal team members as needed
• Submit estimates within required timelines
• Assist with revisions, change pricing, and scope clarification
• Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience estimating residential framing projects
• Strong understanding of residential framing systems and structural components
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, or similar tools
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.65-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
