Job Description

The Wave Restaurant at The Fundy Rocks Resort is seeking a reliable Cook to join our kitchen team in a full-time or part-time, starting mid-spring.

This role is ideal for a cook who values teamwork, and consistently delivers quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Set up, maintain, and break down your station
• Follow portioning, plating, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff during service
• Assist with prep and daily kitchen operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen an asset
• Strong basic culinary and knife skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and follow established systems
