Staff Accountant

We, Source Accounting Professional Corporation, are a fast growing accounting firm in Mississauga serving business clients across the GTA. We provide busines and corporate tax advisory and filing, bookkeeping, payroll management, business consultation, and other services.

We have a Staff Accountant position available, with the potential to convert to a permanent full-time opportunity. Applicant must have good knowledge of Canadian taxes.

Main duties include:-

1. Personal (T1) and Corporate tax returns (T2)

2. GST/HST filing

3. Bookkeeping

4. Compilation of financial statements

5. Payroll processing

6. Coordinate and follow up with customers and CRA.

7. Performs additional duties as required

Education, skills, and experience requirement: -

1) Accounting gradudate or working towards an accounting designation.

2) 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, tax, and payroll.

3) Must be proficient in MS Office products.

4) Must be able to prepare T1 and T2 returns.

5) Preference will be given to candidates with solid knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

6) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

7) Flexibility in availability/schedules
