Coordination & Communication
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients in person, by phone, and via secure messaging; support navigation, instructions, and follow‑up.
- Coordinate referrals, e‑faxing, requisitions, recalls, reminders, and specialist/diagnostic bookings.
- Manage results and messages in Juno EMR appropriately (assign, flag, and document per clinic policy).
- Support physicians with forms completion workflows and chart preparation.
- Use de‑escalation skills tactfully; maintain a calm, professional presence.
Administration & Operations
- Front desk coverage: check‑in/out, OHIP/third‑party billing details at intake, appointment scheduling, and payment processing for uninsured services.
- Scan, index, and maintain accurate electronic charts; uphold PHIPA privacy/confidentiality.
- Inventory management: order, receive, and rotate supplies; maintain vaccine logs and cold chain records.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI), safety huddles, and process optimization.
