Job Description

RAD Marketing is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Representative to join our team for a purpose-built rental development in Oshawa. This hybrid role combines leasing responsibilities with administrative support to ensure seamless operations during pre-construction & lease-up phases.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. You will be supported with mentorship, resources and tools to succeed with clear opportunities for growth based on performance.

As part of RAD Marketing, you will:

  • Represent the developer, prospective renters, and RAD Marketing with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Focus on leasing out a new condominium development in Oshawa.
  • Consistently meet and exceed leasing targets.

Only serious candidates with experience will be considered.

Key Leasing Responsibilities:

  • Achieve weekly/monthly leasing targets for the development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants during pre-leasing and lease-up phases.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person tours of model suites or leasing office.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems.
  • Guide prospects through the application process, ensuring compliance with company policies and rental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and lease agreements in CRM.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to optimize leasing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute leasing campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate & implement open-house programs and other marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in quarterly market surveys and mystery shop competitor properties, providing recommendations to senior management.
  • Participates in the development and execution of the leasing strategy
  • Schedules work week to efficiently meet the needs of the business which may include performing activities on evenings and weekends
  • Identify and pursue new leasing opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing agents & clients
  • Have great attention to detail, and follow up skills via phone
  • Strong closing skills a must
  • Provides exceptional leasing experiences to existing and potential renters.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare and process lease applications, addendums, maintain commission reports and related paperwork.
  • Coordinate with property management and construction teams for unit availability and handover schedules.
  • Manage appointment calendars and organize leasing events.
  • Handle confidential tenant information with discretion and compliance.
  • Generate weekly leasing reports and provide updates to management.
  • Assist with financial tracking related to deposits and rent payment.
  • Maintain model suites ensuring all standards are consistently met
  • Experience with CRM or other related database management systems
  • Manage appointment calendars and organize leasing events.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma
  • Licensed Broker realtor through RECO, in good standing
  • 1+ years of experience in real estate sales, leasing or property administration (Purpose-Built Rental experience preferred)
  • 1-2 years proven history of success in a direct sales environment and or customer service role.
  • Strong knowledge of rental regulations and lease agreements
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc. (Yardi experience is an asset).
  • Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle available for employment use in travelling to site
