Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas with precision and efficiency
• Change linens, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and replenish supplies to uphold cleanliness standards
• Perform detailed floor care including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
• Follow established health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for guests and staff
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper maintenance
• Support team members in maintaining overall cleanliness of the hotel premises during busy periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and sanitation standards in hospitality settings
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrates understanding of guest service expectations
• Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory roles
