Line Cook and Prep Cook

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook / Prep Cook to become part of our kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, thrives in a busy kitchen, and takes pride in preparing quality dishes. You will play an important role in keeping daily kitchen operations running efficiently and helping deliver a great dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items by following approved recipes and portion standards.
• Support food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to maintain smooth and timely service during busy periods.
• Keep kitchen stations, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Assist with monitoring inventory and notifying management when supplies are running low.
• Support the onboarding and training of new kitchen staff on preparation methods and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or food service setting is an asset.
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
• Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, late nights, and weekends.
• Genuine interest in cooking and openness to learning new skills and techniques.
• A passion for serving quality food and providing excellent customer experience.
