Job Title: Construction Helper (Class 5 Driver – Alberta)

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper with a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily construction site tasks, handle material deliveries, and safely operate company trucks. This role is perfect for someone who is motivated, physically fit, and eager to grow in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day site operations, including loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and preparing work areas.
• Drive company trucks (up to 1 ton) to pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites as required.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and ensure the truck remains clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Help tradespeople with basic tasks such as carrying supplies, moving drywall, holding materials in place, and other labor duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and Alberta road regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site leads, and suppliers.
• Complete other general labor or support duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive and operate a truck confidently, including navigating job sites and city routes.
• Previous construction or general labor experience is an asset (not required).
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
