Position Summary
The warehouse associate is accountable, under direct supervision, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities to complete full cycle of shipping, stock put away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.
  • Utilize ERP system to process customer orders.
  • Know and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Keep warehouse manager informed of operations.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Attention to detail is REQUIRED.
  • Count and record material to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/ customer specifications
  • Utilize label printer to prepare labels as required
  • Return remaining product to proper location
  • Accurately count, package, and label per warehouse/ customer requirements
  • Accurately package and prepare material for shipment
  • Utilize freight companies, UPS and Fedex to ship product to include preparing Bill of Lading's.
  • Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. As well as varies power tools to build shipping crates.
  • Meet established standards for quality and productivity
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Three to five years general warehousing and shipping experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards required.
  • Work well in a team environment required.
  • Detailed oriented and perform basic research if require
