Job Description INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Digital Distribution division is responsible for the international distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct‑to‑video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product - scripted TV series, non‑scripted TV series, mini‑series, animation and TV movies.
ROLE PURPOSE The Associate Content Producer will work collaboratively with the wider content production and channel management teams to create and publish a range of videos in the required formats for NBCUniversal's wholly owned YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok channels. This will include uploading and optimising finished videos, producing community assets, creating thumbnails, scheduling assets, and managing the community end‑to‑end. Working with full‑length feature films and TV shows across a range of genres, the Associate Content Producer will create highly original and arresting clip pulls, thematic compilations, and/or montages that keep viewers engaged and deliver downstream revenue. The role will also include adopting new technologies, including AI, for various tasks. The Associate Content Producer will use native social analytics platforms such as YouTube analytics, Snapchat Studio, and TikTok Business Suite to interpret user data and assist the team in making future content decisions. Working on a wide variety of content, there will be the opportunity to demonstrate original thinking in a fast‑moving, high‑volume environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brief, edit, deliver and optimise best‑in‑class video assets for a variety of social media platforms, including YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok, in a range of aspect‑ratios.
Edit and deliver videos using Adobe Premiere.
Manage personal brand content calendars, ensuring weekly upload cadences are met.
Write strong copy for YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok platforms and engage with comments and community posts representing the IP.
Use new technologies for editing and distribution of content.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Strong creative flair and ability to edit to broadcast standard across clip‑based compilations and original content in a commercial division.
Highly engaged in social media and willing to recommend latest trends and ideas.
Proven track‑record in generating arresting content at speed in a high‑output team.
Demonstrable ability to write consistently strong copy for social video.
Fully conversant with minimum three key platforms: YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok and proficiency in using their respective analytics tools.
Ability to continually collaborate, take feedback and optimise on the way.
Passion for generating assets that deliver high viewing and engagement.
Ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a small, entrepreneurial unit.
Strong knowledge of the AVOD landscape and audience expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Basic Qualifications
Fully conversant and active user of all major social networks.
Excellent skills in Adobe Suite, mainly Premiere, Photoshop and a good understanding of After Effects (basic 2D animation using keyframes).
Experience in re‑versioning widescreen content for vertical video platforms.
Demonstrable passion for NBCU TV content.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Minimum 2 years' experience gained in a digital media environment.
Degree in creative arts and design, graphic design, digital media and creative computing or similar.
