We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join our Pig & Poultry Division. The successful candidate will be responsiblemassage : *bullet points exactly as below*
Supporting customers and attending regular technical service visits
Delivery of the budget in terms of turnover and margin for the customers
Maintenance of existing customer accounts and accountability for growing the area business into new account opportunities
Maintenance of the business reporting tools and CRM system
Development of the area business plan that will feed into the National Plan
Attending national events, which may involve overnight stays
Ensuring company policy is followed in terms of regulatory compliance across all customer sites
Adhering to all aspects of health and safety
Key Skills / Attributes / Core Competencies
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the agricultural/food processing sector
Ideally a background within the pig and/or poultry sectors
Agricultural/Science qualification to degree level is preferred
Ability to plan for and manage multiple priorities
Organised and efficient to manage own diary, meet deadlines and deliver objectives
IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

An understanding of agricultural processes and procedures, particularly within the pig and poultry sectors

Full UK driving licence is required
