The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Engineer to join a globally recognised leader in Facilities Management. This is a permanent position supporting critical hospital and commercial environments between Oxford and Bristol.

Role Purpose As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, repair, and replacement of electrical and mechanical systems within critical healthcare environments. You will ensure all building services operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance as a Mobile Engineer across electrical and mechanical systems
Maintain and repair plant and equipment typically found in critical hospital environments, including:
Electrical distribution systems
HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers)
Pumps, motors, and associated mechanical plant
Emergency lighting and power systems
Act as the on-site representative and Mobile Engineer for the business when attending sites
Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation as a Mobile Engineer
Liaise with subcontractors, specialist service providers, and clients
Support continuous improvement of building services and site reliability
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times as a Mobile Engineer
Skills & Experience Required
Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
Proven experience working as a Mobile Engineer within commercial or critical environments
Strong technical knowledge across both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills expected of a Mobile Engineer
Knowledge of statutory compliance, permits, and safe systems of work
Strong communication, organisational, and customer-facing skills
Ability to work Monday to Friday during normal working hours
