Duties

• Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and restoration steps
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and painting preparation
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality benchmarks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and accurately within scheduled timelines
• Document repair procedures, parts used, and inspection results meticulously for each vehicle

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot automotive issues effectively
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience in automotive repair, auto body repair, or auto restoration projects
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive service standards
• Ability to work with precision during auto body repairs and detailed cosmetic work
• Mechanic experience is highly desirable for diagnosing complex issues quickly
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working on vehicles

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
