About The Role
Location: Remote (Full‑time)

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Fusemachines, you will be instrumental in transforming data into strategic insights that influence decision-making and operational improvements. Your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to various stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, IT, and business units, to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Your expertise in data visualization, analytics, and cybersecurity KPIs will directly contribute to optimizing business processes and enhancing the customer experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a dynamic, innovative environment focused on AI and data-driven growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization, particularly in cybersecurity
  • Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer with a strong portfolio of impactful dashboards and reports
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience designing efficient data models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake as an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Python, including pipeline development from source to data representation
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity KPIs and metrics
  • Experience working in the financial sector is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights using Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and PowerBI
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate KPIs, trends, and anomalies, with a focus on cybersecurity
  • Optimize data models and queries to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of PowerBI solutions
  • Implement best practices in data visualization to enhance clarity, consistency, and usability for end users
  • Work closely with data engineers to integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to end users to promote adoption and maximize the value of PowerBI tools
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in data visualization and analytics, recommending improvements as appropriate
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
