Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs efficiently across various systems. Candidates with dealership experience, fabrication skills, and expertise in heavy machinery are highly preferred. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC, and diesel engines
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform fabrication tasks using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques
• Conduct vehicle maintenance including tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement
• Repair industrial equipment and perform assembly or disassembly as needed
• Operate or assist with heavy machinery operation when required
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and adhere to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
• Dealership experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tractor-trailers
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding and metalworking
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams
• Experience working with farm machinery, industrial equipment, or HVAC systems is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
