Key Facts:
· Salary range is around $55,000 - $75,000 annually.
· This is not a remote position. Must be able to work at the IFA DC office on a hybrid schedule. Travel required.
The
Events & Registration Coordinator
is a part of the Events Team responsible for the content planning and execution of 7 events per year, ranging from 100 to 4,000+ attendees, and up to
$6 million in revenue.
We are looking for a collaborative team player with the drive and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the program creation and delivery of best-in-class content. Our ideal candidate must be a keen multi-tasker, enjoys administrative tasks, highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, thrives under pressure and is adept at building relationships. The
Events & Registration Coordinator
will travel to all association conferences and manage registration with a variety of other aspects of each event onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the events team liaison for IFA's registration platform (CVENT), AMS (Nimble, Sales Force platform), and website, particularly as it relates to ensuring the integrity of IFA's online registration process.
· Work in collaboration with IFA's Technology team and external logistics partner to prepare content, review and test event registrations.
· Works closely with the Conferences and Meetings Team to support all administrative aspects of the content development and execution of assigned
association's events to include but not limited to preparing materials for task force meetings and taking minutes, building material resource web pages and pulling content together for brochures and programs, as well as, onsite coordination, and various other administrative responsibilities.
· Prepare data to be included in weekly event registration reports and other analysis.
· Manage the post-event management work such as: event survey creation, analyzing attendee feedback, reconciliation of vendor invoices, post event attendee materials for distribution via an online site or through mobile app.
· Serve as the department point of contact handling member inquiries regarding all association events.
· Other duties as required by the Vice President, Event Design and Planning.
Ideal Experience:
· Bachelor's degree, and one to two years of experience in event registration and execution; or a combination of education and experience.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and have experience with CVENT, Salesforce, Nimble, or other types of Registration/CRM systems. An understanding of is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills; detail oriented with an eye for continuous administrative efficiency improvement.
· Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus with the ability to form strong relationships.
· Strong administration experience, multi-tasker and ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
· Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) credential is a plus.
