SHIFT SUPERVISOR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Key Coaches perform customer service functions while helping to support the running of a clean, safe environment and maintaining the highest quality standards with beverages, food, and Fan service.

SHIFT SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Carries out a customer service position function throughout each shift (serving, bartending, cooking, running take-out, greeting, etc.).

2. Opening and closing the restaurant.

3. Trains potential Players.

4. Provides direction to Players in real-time during the shift.

5. Assists management team with daily financial responsibilities (cash handling, daily deposits, authorizes comps & voids, etc.)

6. Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints in real-time.

7. Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility to ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

8. Rectifies any Fan complaints.

9. Operates a computer and all associated hardware (MS Office, internet, LMS…) or systems.

10. When needed, minimum administrative responsibilities relating to restaurant functions during the shift.

11. Performs other duties as needed however, plays no part in the personnel process (interviewing, hiring, promotions, terminations, etc.

SHIFT SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Ability to read and write English.
Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Fans and Players.
Stands/walks 100% of the shift.
Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently.
Lifts and carries up to 50lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
Works frequently in damp, hot work environment.
Works with an open flame.
Uses sharp knives and utensils.
May use slicers or other kitchen machinery.
Ability to hold items with hands (knives, pans) for extended periods of time, with up to 5lb of weight.
