Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing project execution, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong technical skills and experience in construction projects to contribute to diverse infrastructure developments. Candidates should possess expertise in construction estimating, project scheduling, and construction site management, with proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software. A background in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee construction site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software to maintain budget control.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate execution of construction plans.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes in collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for document control, daily reports, RFIs, and progress tracking.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and coordinate project meetings to address issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards during construction activities.
- Assist in project documentation preparation for client presentations and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience in construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, and other relevant construction management software tools.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and project scheduling.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of heavy civil or infrastructure projects is preferred but not required. This role is integral to the successful delivery of our projects and offers a dynamic environment for growth within the construction industry. Pay: $76, $95,971.00 per year
