Pharmacy Technician – Production

About the Role

Greenwich Rx is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician – Production (Assembly) to support our compounding pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for accurately assembling prescription orders prior to final pharmacist verification and shipment.

This is not a retail role — it is a hands-on position in a regulated pharmacy production environment where accuracy and consistency are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble compounded prescription orders accurately
• Match medications, labels, and supplies to patient orders
• Prepare completed orders for pharmacist verification
• Follow SOPs and quality standards at all times
• Identify and escalate discrepancies immediately
• Maintain clean, organized, inspection-ready workstations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or Technician Trainee – TX)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a production, compounding, or regulated pharmacy environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy production or fulfillment
• Compounding pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with SOP-driven or regulated environments

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequent repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift 30 pounds or more.
• Ability to work onsite in a pharmacy production or operations environment.
• Ability to perform detailed, repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focus.
• Ability to comply with safety, PPE, and workplace policies in a regulated healthcare setting.

Schedule & Availability:
This role requires availability based on production needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a non-exempt position and paid hourly.
