Payson Concrete & Materials is seeking a hardworking, dependable General Laborer to join our production team. This is a physically demanding role centered around the maintenance and operation of our rock crushing equipment. If you take pride in a hard day's work and have a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is maintaining the efficiency of our rock crusher. Duties include:

• Manual Labor: Performing heavy shoveling and clearing of debris/material around the rock crusher and conveyor systems.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, greasing bearings, and lubricating moving parts.
• Light Repairs: Utilizing welding skills to perform minor repairs or reinforcements on plant equipment. (Preferred but not required.)
• Site Cleanliness: Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by removing obstructions and managing stockpile areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Must be capable of performing several hours of strenuous manual labor daily in various weather conditions.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with light mechanics (oil changes, tool handling, and lubrication) is highly preferred.
• Dependability: Strict adherence to the schedule is required. We rely on our team to be on time and ready to work every day.
• Safety Mindset: Ability to follow strict safety protocols around heavy machinery.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (Starting rate based on experience and skill set).
• Medical Benefits: Monthly medical reimbursement stipend available after 90 days.
• Paid Time Off: PTO available following the successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.
• Job Type: Full-time.
• Location: On-site in Payson, AZ.

Note: This position requires consistent physical exertion, including lifting, bending, and shoveling for extended periods. Scheduled hours fluctuate due to weather, dispatch schedule, and other factors like season. Overtime hours are a possibility, especially in the summer season.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
