Radiology Associates in Daytona Beach, Florida—a division of Radiology Imaging Associates—is seeking a qualified on-site Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing, physician-led private practice. Our radiologists provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services throughout East Central Florida. This position will support clinical operations at Halifax Health Medical Center as well as outpatient locations including Radiology Associates Twin Lakes and Radiology Associates Port Orange. The role focuses on assisting radiologists with light interventional radiology procedures and fluoroscopy, contributing to efficient workflow and high-quality patient care across hospital-based and outpatient settings.

Job Responsibilities:
- In an outpatient setting, provides clinical services and care in conjunction with supervising physician.
- Coordinates care of established patients: coordinates the ongoing care of established patients ensuring that diagnostic testing and subspecialty consultations and all follow up appointments are completed on a timely basis.
- Coordinates care of new patients: coordinates the care of new patients ensuring that diagnostic testing and subspecialty consultations and all follow up appointments are completed on a timely basis.
- Obtains initial histories and performs physical examination. Documents clinical findings in patient medical record. Develops and implements plan of care in conjunction with supervising physician.
- Issues prescriptions for drugs, devices and immunizations as indicated.
- Providers health education counseling to patients and families. Answers questions about disease and treatment plan.
- Responds to patient phone calls, answers questions and refers questions to physician as appropriate.
- Performs minimally invasive vascular and nonvascular procedures as mentioned in management protocol and collaborative agreement independently or under general supervision of attending interventional radiologist and per hospital competencies including but not limited to: central venous line placement; dialysis catheter placement; image-guided biopsies utilizing ultrasound and CT; lumbar punctures; myelograms; paracentesis; thoracentesis; chest tube placement; joint injections and aspirations; fluoroscopic procedures; and arthrograms. Comprehensive training is provided for candidates with varying levels of prior procedural experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Current PA license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida required.
- Board certified by The National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- BLS AND ACLS certification required.
- Comfortable performing procedures.
- Flexible working across multiple locations and able to commute reliably.
