Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PART TIME (2-3 days a week) Night Auditor at TownePlace Suites Richmond Colonial Heights to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in hotel management systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling financial transactions, managing guest inquiries, and performing nightly audits to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, providing exceptional customer service to guests.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management.
• Operate phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and address any special requests.
• Ensure the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel management or as a Night Auditor is preferred.
• Strong understanding of night audit procedures and hotel operations.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and front desk systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining professionalism.
