Retail Sales Associate

TAP Plastics is the leading specialty retailer of plastics and plastic related products in the industry.

We are currently hiring for a part-time Retail Sales Associates to join our team in San Francisco.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer service and sales, with a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional shopping experience. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative retail environment.

Duties:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Provide detailed product information and personalized recommendations.
• Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and assist with inventory counts.
• Restock merchandise and uphold visual presentation standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
• At least one year of prior retail sales experience is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills, including proficiency in using a tape measure.
• Experience operating a cash register.
• Effective organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain visually appealing displays.

Hours: 40hours per week - Monday through Saturday between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Closed on Sundays and many holidays

Pay: $20.20 per hour to start with .50 cent increase upon completing training.
