Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

• Attentively and sincerely greet customers
• Interact with customers to find out their furniture goals in a retail environment
• Discuss products and available services to customers
• Willing to learn and obtain product knowledge for successful sales
• Confidence to up sell and/or suggest additional complementary furniture pieces
• Negotiation skills to assist customers with finance terms and profitability
• Ability to use various effective closing techniques
• Responsible for entering accurate sales orders, receives payments, and/or credit authorizations
• Support co-workers in a team-oriented environment
• Help maintain a clean, orderly working environment and showroom

• Ability to assist with merchandise set up
• Attend Sales meetings and work towards individual sales growth
• Attends mandatory product training
• Monitor inventory to ensure the product is in stock
• Adhere to company policy and procedures
