Family Program Director

Job Purpose:
- The Family Program Director at the Young Men's Christian Association of Springfield is responsible for overseeing and developing family-oriented programs that align with the organization's mission and values. This role involves creating a supportive and engaging environment for families, fostering community relationships, and ensuring the effective delivery of services that promote family well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive range of family programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs of the community.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure program offerings are integrated and support the overall mission of the YMCA.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes and participant satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and outreach.
- Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring financial sustainability and resource allocation align with organizational goals.
- Promote and market programs to increase participation and community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all YMCA policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board members, highlighting program successes and areas for improvement.

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within a non-profit or charitable organization.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing family-focused programs.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial resources effectively.
- Demonstrated success in leading and supervising a team of staff and volunteers.
- Experience in building partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
