Role Purpose

The Supply Chain & Inventory Manager owns Majestic's end-to-end inventory, procurement, and material planning processes to ensure our photobooth production and field operations run smoothly as we scale. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory, preventing stockouts, managing supplier relationships, and building systems that support Majestic's growth from ~150 placements toward 1,000+ nationwide.

This is a hands-on, systems-driven role for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and day-to-day execution, building structure, improving workflows, and taking true ownership of supply chain operations.


Key Responsibilities Inventory Management (35%)
  • Maintain and continuously improve Majestic's two-bin and minimum stock inventory systems
     
  • Create and manage a complete bill of materials for each photobooth configuration, including quantities and approved alternates
     
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all parts and equipment, including serial numbers for electronic components
     
  • Perform and oversee regular cycle counts and inventory audits
     
  • Own the receiving process, including inspection, discrepancy resolution, and proper put-away
     
  • Establish clear labeling, storage standards, and organized inventory spaces
     
  • Create and maintain SOPs for inventory, receiving, storage, and counting
     
  • Production & Material Planning (20%)
  • Translate production schedules into clear material requirements so builds are never delayed
     
  • Plan purchasing and replenishment based on build timelines, usage rates, and minimum stock levels
     
  • Maintain accurate data on part usage, lead times, and reorder points
     
  • Partner closely with Production and Field Operations to prevent stockouts
     
  • Improve planning accuracy as production volume and complexity increase
     
  • Procurement & Supplier Management (25%)
  • Order materials and components based on approved part lists and forecasts
     
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including pricing, lead times, and ordering terms
     
  • Maintain a vendor database with pricing, lead times, MOQs, and approved alternates
     
  • Manage returns, restocking, and quality issues with suppliers
     
  • Track material costs and proactively surface pricing or availability risks to Operations and Finance
     
  • Logistics & Shipping (10%)
  • Manage outbound freight and shipping for booth transfers and inventory replenishment
     
  • Coordinate carriers and shipping methods to balance cost, speed, and reliability
     
  • Establish packaging standards and shipping documentation processes
     
  • Partner with Field Operations on delivery scheduling and coordination
     
  • Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs and shipping damage
     
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting (10%)
  • Apply lean principles to improve supply chain workflows
     
  • Track and report KPIs such as inventory accuracy, stockout rates, supplier reliability, lead times, and freight costs
     
  • Analyze data to reduce waste, excess inventory, and delays
     
  • Lead supply chain improvement initiatives as Majestic scales
     
  • Future Leadership (As Needed)
  • Help define and build the supply chain function as volume increases
     
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of future inventory, receiving, or logistics team members
     
  • Role allocation percentages are approximate and may shift based on company priorities.


    Qualifications  Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred (not required)
     
  • Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations
     
  • Experience supporting a production, assembly, or manufacturing-adjacent environment preferred
     
  • Experience in a fast-growing or operationally evolving company strongly preferred
     
  • Software & Systems
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, lookups, data analysis)
     
  • Experience managing inventory systems, purchasing workflows, or structured spreadsheets
     
  • Experience building and documenting standard operating procedures
     
  • Comfort with digital tools (Notion or similar systems a plus)
     
  • Skills & Attributes
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on
     
  • Comfortable working both at a desk and in inventory/warehouse environments
     
  • Strong vendor communication and negotiation skills
     
  • Able to balance speed and accuracy in a time-sensitive production environment
     
  • Ownership mindset with a passion for building scalable systems
     
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment as needed within inventory and production areas
     

  • Compensation

    $85,000 – $95,000 annually, based on experience
