Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and ensure that all dietary needs are met.
• Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring that all meals are presented beautifully.

Experience

• Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry is required.
• Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Strong culinary skills with proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation techniques.
• A commitment to food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment is essential.
• Experience working in a restaurant or fine dining setting is highly desirable.
