Position Overview
The Application Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing software applications that meet business and technical requirements. This role involves working closely with project managers, system analysts, and end users to create efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain application software based on specifications.
- Perform coding, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Prepare technical documentation including design specifications and user guides.
- Enhance existing applications to improve performance, functionality, and scalability.
- Ensure solutions comply with security and quality standards.
- Provide production support and resolve application issues as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in application programming or software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or C# (based on organizational stack).
- Strong experience with database technologies (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of web development frameworks (Angular, React, ).
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Experience with API development and integration
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
